BEIRUT - The Special Tribunal for Lebanon will be launching a National Visiting Professionals Programme (NVP) for 2010 as a part of the tribunal’s ongoing outreach efforts. This programme will provide an opportunity for Lebanese professionals to contribute to the work of the STL while gaining experience working in an international tribunal.
National Visiting Professionals will have an opportunity to work in all organs of the tribunal (Chambers, Prosecution, Defence and Registry) for a period of three to six months based either at the STL Headquarters in Leidschendam or at the Beirut Field Office in Lebanon. The NVP Program has been made possible by funding from the European Commission and will be open to Lebanese nationals and residents.
