Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar said in comments to be published on Thursday that the four former security chiefs detained for alleged involvement in the February 2005 assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri will be transferred to the headquarters of the international tribunal in The Hague. "The international tribunal to try suspects in the Hariri assassination will kick off its work in March and the four generals will be taken to The Hague for trial," the justice minister told As-Sayyad magazine. The four former security chiefs, Jamil al-Sayyed of General Security, Ali al-Hajj of the Internal Security Forces, Raymond Azar of Lebanese Army Intelligence and Mustafa Hamdan of the Presidential Guards, have been detained since September 2005 for alleged involvement in the Hariri's assassination.
